Today the children had lots of fun strengthening the muscles in their fingers when engaging in a fine-motor flower-art activity. The children painted their flowers and when dried, they used cotton buds to add some intricate details onto each petal. These flowers are going to be joined together to make 3D flowers for our class display. It is extremely important to develop your child’s fine-motor skills in order to support their handwriting and overall dexterity. Why not try some fine-motor activities like threading or beading at home? 😊
