This week, we discussed the importance of road safety. We talked about how being careful on and around roads helps keep everyone safe.
The children discussed the importance to:
- Stop, Look, Listen, and Think before crossing the road.
- Always use safe crossing areas such as zebra crossings and traffic lights.
- Wear bright or reflective clothing to be seen, especially in darker mornings and evenings.
- Always wear a seatbelt in the car.
We also talked about how these habits protect not only themselves but others too. Please encourage your child to practice these rules every day on their way to and from school.
