This week we wrapped up warm and headed out on an autumn adventure around our school grounds! The children loved spotting all the beautiful colours of the season — bright reds, golden yellows, and crunchy brown leaves everywhere! 🍃
They collected their favourite leaves, twigs, and other autumn treasures to bring back to class. We talked about the shapes, sizes, and textures of what we found — and there was lots of excitement every time someone discovered a really big leaf!
Back inside, we used our collections to make leaf rubbings with crayons. The children were amazed to see the leaf patterns appear like magic on their paper. 🎨
It was a lovely way to explore nature, use our senses, and get creative — all while learning about the changing seasons. Well done to all our little nature explorers! 🌰🍂
