We are very fortunate that our children get lots of outdoor learning opportunities every day in Nursery. The outdoors is a key part of our provision and one of the children’s favourite places to explore is the Mud Kitchen!
The Mud Kitchen is a wonderful area where children can play, create and investigate using natural materials. This week, the children have been busy mixing, pouring, scooping and stirring to make all sorts of imaginative “recipes” using mud, water, leaves, conkers, acorns, pumpkins and sticks.
It is wonderful to see the children so engaged, happy and excited in their play - even if it means getting a little muddy along the way! 🌈💚😊
