💚💛 Sing a New Song 💚💛

We have been delighted to be part of the Diocesan Pilot Scheme ‘Sing a New Song.’ It is a wonderful program that has helped to enrich the lives of children in the diocese. We would like to thank Orla and Sarah Jane who taught the most beautiful hymns and songs to our P5 children. We are bursting with pride with all the children have achieved and how much they have grown in confidence. The children have absolutely loved their sessions on a Wednesday morning and it is definitely an experience that they will not forget.

All of their hard work was showcased in the most reverend and joyful ceremony on Tuesday morning in St Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh. All pilot schools performed so beautifully together in a special service led by Archbiship Eamon Martin and assisted by Fr. Calum and Fr. Barry. 

We would like to congratulate all the children on their wonderful singing. A special word of thanks to the children who read beautifully. The pictures are only a flavour of the atmosphere that we experienced in Armagh Cathedral.
