Over the past few weeks in Primary One, we have been enjoying our literacy lessons through the wonderful story The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr.
The children have loved exploring this classic story and we have been discussing it in detail together. We spent time asking and answering questions about the characters and events. The boys and girls impressed us with their fantastic predictions about what might happen next in the story.
As a special treat to celebrate our learning, we decided to host our very own tea party in the classroom—just like in the story! The children enjoyed tea, juice, ham and cheese sandwiches, and lots of yummy cakes. There were big smiles all around as everyone joined in the fun. ☕️🫖🥪
The tea party was a fantastic way to bring our story to life, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
