Active Maths in Primary 6

This week, the children in Mr McClorey's class have been on their feet for their Maths lessons.  They used trundle wheels, metre sticks and measuring tapes to measure the length and width of various objects / spaces, both inside and outside the classroom.  They multiplied these measurements together to calculate the area in square metres.  The children also practised moving in quarter, half and three quarter turns, clockwise and anticlockwise.  Lots of learning and lots of fun!
