Primary 2 children were very excited today as we were very lucky that one of our students brought in a bird house along with some sticks and bird food. We used this as a wonderful learning opportunity and spent time exploring the items together, talking about birds and their habitats.
We will be placing the bird feeder outside so the children can observe which birds or animals come to visit the birdhouse. This will support curiosity, observation skills, and discussions about caring for nature.
