This week in class, the children have been focusing on reading comprehension skills. They have been learning how to retrieve information directly from a piece of text, show their understanding, and answer questions using evidence from what they have read.
The children have been working in partners to support one another, which has encouraged collaboration, confidence, and peer discussion. There has been lots of meaningful talk around the text, helping the children to explain their ideas, justify answers, and learn from each other. 💚💛
