The first day of spring in the UK astronomically occurs on the vernal equinox, which is the 20th March 2024. To celebrate the official arrival of Spring, we decided to grow some ‘Crazy Cress Heads’. We gathered some tiny plant pots, some cotton wool, a little water, and cress seeds. First, we decorated our pots and took some funny face pictures of ourselves to stick on the front. After this, we placed damp cotton wool into our pots and sprinkled some cress seeds on top. We are going to water our seeds daily and are looking forward to seeing what crazy hairstyles we grow! 😊
