Primary 2 were participating in ‘Ditch the Dark Day’ to improve and encourage Active Travel to school. Children all participated by walking, taking a scooter, or cycling to school this morning.
The children all dressed in a bright and creative way (hi vis vests, hats, scarfs, leg warmers, gloves, wigs etc). They listened to a road safety talk this morning by Dave, discussing the importance of being bright and seen on darker days, we also got to see his foldable bicycle, ‘Buzz!’
Well done to all those who made a special effort to wear bright clothing.
