This week Primary 5 have been very busy readjusting to the school routine and getting back into the swing of school work again. We were very lucky to have a visit from Newry Fire Service who gave us lots of important information about fire safety in our homes. The children got a tour of the fire truck and were very grateful to the fire fighters for spending some time to chat with them about their very important jobs and intriguing equipment. We have incuded a few snaps taken during their visit.
We celebrated Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday on Tuesday. We learnt lots of new things about him, read his amazing books and had a Roald Dahl themed day of learning.
