Lucky Leprechauns in Mrs Scullion's P1 Class

For the last two weeks in primary one, we have been preparing for our very first assembly. Our assembly was based on the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. We have been learning the story of St Patrick and the influence he had on helping Christianity to flourish throughout our island. We learned facts about St Patrick's day and looked at some of the ways it is celebrated throughout the world. Today, we showcased all our learning through story, dance, drama and song. Our assembly was a massive hit with all our parents and guardians, as well as our principal Mrs Gorman. Well done boys and girls, you all deserved our special ice-cream treat this afternoon for all your hard work! :-)
