As we are settling in to the second week of May, the children in primary one have been learning all about Mary, the mother of Jesus.
We have looked at who Mary was, Marian celebrations (May Devotions and May Crowning) and even talked about what we would put on our Mary altar.
Today we learned that Mary asks us to live like Jesus, so we discussed how we could do just that. We had some lovely discussions, for example; giving our adults a helping hand, giving our friends a kind smile and always looking out for one another.
We decided to take full advantage of the gorgeous weather and put our ideas down on paper, surrounded by many blooming flowers which children may take to make their very own flower crown!
