The children in primary 5 had a wonderful time participating in an educational cookery demonstration, provided by Wendy from the Livestock and Meat Commission (LMC). Wendy taught the children so much about the Farm Quality Assured aspect of the meat she was using and why it is so important to support local farmers. The children were able to sample the food she cooked and also read the fantastic Beef and Lamb booklet produced by LMC. We hope to hear all about some of the delicious recipes the children will try out at home.
