National Numeracy Day P2 AA 💚💛
Our Primary 2 pupils celebrated National Numeracy Day, a day dedicated to recognising the importance of maths.
They explored how numeracy goes far beyond the classroom. From counting and measuring to solving simple problems, they discovered that maths is all around them, whether they are sharing snacks, telling the time, playing games, or helping with shopping.
The children participated in a competition focused on how we use numbers in our community and neighbourhood.
We had a class discussion and the children were asked some questions, take a look at their answers.
