Primary 2 had a fantastic morning celebrating National Numeracy Day by taking part in a Number Natter. Sitting in a circle, we shared ideas about maths, talked about where we see numbers every day and discussed times when numbers help us in games and in our lives.
The children also shared special numbers, spoke about how they solve tricky maths and celebrated proud number moments.
Afterwards, we entered the Number Heroes Competition, thinking about how people use numbers in our community.
