On Tuesday 28th April some of our primary 7 children got to take part in a wonderful adventure!
Coach Paul from the Newry Flyers has been coming to school to coach the 12 selected Primary 7 children. The young athletes showed a great commitment, great performance and great attitude! Miss Doyle and Mr Galloghly went on an adventure to Belfast with our Basketball Players.
The St Patrick's team was renamed the Milwaukee Bucks and off they went to play with children from 15 other schools. They took part in some ice breaker games, played more than a few matches and had the opportunity to take part in their very own mock press conference.
They also met CJ Fulton made who history in 2025 by signing with the Minnesota Timberwolves, becoming the first player developed in the Irish basketball system to join an NBA team.
This was an excellent opportunity for our primary 7 children and we would like to thank Coach Paul for choosing us to take part in this program!
