Our nursery children had a wonderful day in Fort Evergreen in Warrenpoint. We had the opportunity to meet friendly farm animals, try and spot some tropical birds, feed some pygmy goats, and explore the roar-some dinosaur dig.
The children had a great time exploring all the different things Fort Evergreen had to offer. The children listened attentively all about the different animals, they enjoyed hearing new things and getting the chance to hold all the baby animals. The children loved coming face to face with gigantic dinosaur replicas and enjoyed to find out new facts about the dinosaurs.
We had a fantastic day out being little explorers and it was great way to end our topic - it brought to life everything our children had learned about dinosaurs.
