🦖🦕Nursery Trip to Fort Evergreen🦖🦕

15th May 2026

Our nursery children had the most wonderful day at Fort Evergreen, packed with lots of exciting adventures, animal encounters, dino explores and lots of smiles!

The children loved meeting and feeding the adorable lambs and pygmy goats. There was plenty of giggles as the animals eagerly came over for their bottles, and all the children enjoyed feeding and petting these gentle farm animals.

We also had the chance to hold and pet a variety of small animals. The children were calm, caring and curious as they gently interacted with the animals and learned more about them.

After visiting the animals, the children had great fun burning off energy in the soft play area. Climbing, sliding, and exploring together helping to build their confidence, teamwork, and lots of happy memories.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the dino dig experience! The children had lots of fun looking and learning about the different types of dinosaurs, while telling the adults a thing or two about the different dinosaurs. The children then became little explorers as they searched for hidden dinosaur bones and uncovered exciting prehistoric treasures in the sand.

It was a fantastic day full of learning, laughter, and adventure, and the children represented our nursery beautifully throughout the trip.

Have a look at the wonderful smiley faces for yourselves to see how much fun all the children had!
