This week, to conclude our current topic of 'people who help us', our Nursery had a very special visit from the local Fire Service. The firefighters arrived in their bright red Fire Engine and the children were excited to see it up close! The highlight of the visit was when the children got to try out the fire hose! With a little help from the firefighters, they sprayed water across our school pitch and felt just like real firefighters! They also had the chance to hear the fire engine’s siren – loud, exciting, and a reminder of how quickly help can arrive when needed.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to visit and for all they do every day to keep our community safe.
