Outdoor Learning P2 HK
Our Primary 2 pupils have been making the most of outdoor play, exploring and learning together across a range of exciting areas.
Using large and small loose parts, children worked collaboratively to design and build imaginative structures. Highlights included a carefully constructed campfire and a very impressive king’s chair, encouraging lots of teamwork!
In the physical play area, pupils enjoyed playing basketball, focusing on their skills of turn taking.
Water play proved very popular as children explored capacity using containers of different sizes. They experimented with filling and emptying. They especially loved the fun of squirting water with the syringes!
Our pupils also expressed their creativity using chalk, designing colourful images and patterns on the ground. In the creative zone, children enjoyed drawing and taking pride in their artwork.
