P3 Mrs Brown's Class - Catholic Schools Week

The focus for Catholic Schools Week on Wednesday was Service in our Family Community.  The children made beautiful cards for their grandparents and included the following prayer:

God, our Father,
Bless our grandparents.
May they know how much they are
loved by God as they bring their love,
joy and hope into our lives.
Bless them with all that
they need each day.
Amen.


We also remembered those grandparents who are no longer with us and said a special prayer for them. 

We give thanks to God for the gift of grandparents and ask God to bless them in their role, particularly that of handing on the gift of faith.
