On Wednesday, Mr McClorey's class participated in a range of activities organised for National Numeracy Day. Firstly, the class joined an online lesson called 'Would You Rather?' which focused on making good financial choices. The children then had to calculate the cost of booking different DJs for a school fete. Finally, they took part in another online activity, all about measuring with a focus on the importance of accurate measuring in sport. The children had a lot of fun and used a lot of their mathematical knowledge and skills.
