P6 children fly their kites

As part of our World Around Us topic 'Wind', Mr McClorey's P6 class has been very busy over the last few weeks designing and making kites.  Today was the day we've been looking forward to: 'Launch Day'; the children tested their kites outside.  It was a very enjoyable activity, and most of the kites flew successfully.  The children finished the activity by evaluating their kites, to identify any improvements they would make.  Thanks to our student teacher, Mr McStay, for all his hard work in teaching these lessons and helping the children.
