P6 meet Sam Maguire and the Tailteann Cup

On Monday, the whole school walked to Newry Leisure Centre to see two very special visitors: the Sam Maguire and Tailteann Cups.  Every class had their photo taken with the two trophies.  The children and staff turned out in their county colours, with football jerseys, hats, scarves and flags all on show.  Unfortunately, none of the Armagh or Down footballers were able to join us, but the children (and staff) all had a great time.  Thanks to all those who organised the event.
