Our Primary 7 pupils recently took part in the BeeSafe educational workshops at Newry Leisure Centre. This important event was delivered by representatives from Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Southern Health and Social Care Trust, PSNI, Translink, and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
The workshops covered a range of essential safety topics, including:
✅ Home Accident Prevention
✅ The dangers of vaping and smoking
✅ Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing
✅ Internet Safety
✅ Bus Safety
✅ Fire Safety in the Home
The children gained valuable knowledge on how to stay safe in different situations, both at home and in the community. A big thank you to all the organisations involved for providing such an engaging and informative experience!
