We have been using our ICT skills to learn about Famous Bridges as part of our World Around Us topic. The class were being introduced to the topic and are spending time researching different bridges around the world. They were asked to impress their teacher with their skills.
They weren't just learning about Bridges, they also worked together in groups to research and record the information.
A big well done to the children who also wrote a short review of the lesson.

This week in Mrs Kells P7 class we had an enthusiastic lesson about famous bridges around the world. We learnt interesting facts such as... the Golden Gate Bridge was made during the Great Depression. Who would have ever thought that?
Mrs Kells thoughtfully let us use the ICT equipment for our research.
We found out about who made the bridges like Dr John Bradfield who made the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge also known as “The Coathanger!”
We had a fun week with Mrs Kells and we plan to have even more fun weeks!"
