This week in the nursery the children enjoyed a very special visit from Kieran the Gardener!
The children had lots of fun using their senses to explore the different plants he brought in. They loved touching, smelling, and closely observing all the different plants.
Kieran shared plenty of facts explaining why the bees need flowers and the children were eager to show off their knowledge to explain that bees use flowers to help them make honey. The children loved learning about why flowers need water, sunlight, soil and roots. The children has lots of fun transforming our planters into beautiful rainbow flowerbeds, helping get our garden ready for the summer!
