Primary 4 HIP session

Primary 4 children really enjoyed their HIP session via zoom with Carlos this week. They talked about anxiety and how it can be classed as ‘long or short term’. The session encouraged children to write down their worries in a ‘worry cup’ ☕️ and think about who is in their ‘communication web’ 🕸️ people who they can turn to if they need help or need to chat. The session also included a focus on physical movement and breathing techniques as a way to deal with worries or anxiety. The message “Let’s get talking” encouraged the children to talk about any worries or feelings they may have. They all really enjoyed the session!
