Primary 7 Gymnastics

This term, the children in Mr McEntee’s Primary 7 class are enjoying gymnastics as part of their PE curriculum. This week, they have been working on perfecting various types of rolls, such as pencil rolls, tuck rolls, dish rolls, and forward rolls. Using skill cards, the pupils had the opportunity to peer assess each other, giving feedback on what their classmates were doing well and suggesting ways to improve their techniques. At the end of the lesson, they performed a group sequence incorporating all the rolls they had been practising. It was a fantastic display of teamwork and physical skill!
