“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: The Fun Way!” ( YW )

27th Mar 2026

 P. 3 had an enjoyable morning learning about the importance of recycling. Recycling and sorting our rubbish properly is very important for protecting the environment and reducing waste. At the workshop, Noel showed us how everyday items can be reused in creative and useful ways. He brought shopping bags made from recycled wax cartons, which showed how waste can be turned into something practical. We also saw beautiful glass chimes created from recycled glass. One of the most exciting examples was a toy robot made from recycled foil, which everyone loved. Noel also explained how recycled plastic can be used to make clothes, toys, and even George the toy monkey.

After learning about these ideas, the children had the opportunity to be creative. We used junk materials to design and build our own alien spaceships. This activity showed us that recycling can be fun as well as helpful. Overall, everyone had an amazing time while learning how important it is to recycle and care for our planet.
