What a beautiful day for an Autumn walk! We had lots of fun using our senses to look out for signs of Autumn in our school surroundings. Our ears were used, to hear the birds chirping and the wind rustling the leaves on the trees. Our eyes were used, to see the beautiful red, orange, yellow, green and brown leaves as they fluttered to the ground. Our noses were used, to smell the woody smells of the natural materials and our hands were used, to feel the different textured leaves both old and new. We are looking forward to using the materials we collected during arts and crafts activities – watch this space!
