We are incredibly proud of our boys and girls who competed today in the Down Cumann na mBunscol heats held in Mayobridge. Both teams gave it their all in a challenging group alongside Saval, Mayobridge, and Banbridge.
Only one team from each group could qualify for the All County Semi-Final, adding extra pressure to every match.
Our boys team showed fantastic determination and skill, securing impressive wins over Banbridge and Mayobridge. Despite a hard-fought loss to a strong Saval side, the boys can hold their heads high after an excellent display of teamwork and effort.
Our girls team were outstanding throughout the day, going unbeaten with victories over all three teams—Saval, Mayobridge, and Banbridge. Their incredible performances have earned them a well-deserved place in the All County Semi-Final!
Both teams were a credit to our school, displaying top-class teamwork, work rate, attitude, and skills. Well done to everyone involved – we’re so proud of you!
