This week, Mr McClorey's class continued our World Around Us work on the topic of 'Wind'. Our focus today was on creating a storm in musical form. First, we listened to ‘Summer’ from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, where he used violins to create the effect of thunder and lightning. Next, the children used a range of percussion instruments to compose and perform their own ‘Storm Symphony’. It was very noisy and great fun. As you can see from the photos, the children were dressed in red to raise money and awareness of the Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
