This week in Primary 2 the boys and girls were introduced to a new topic in numeracy vertical addition. The children have been doing lots of addition, including addition sums, addition word problems and mental maths addition. This week we discussed that vertical addition is another method of adding where the numbers are lined up in columns according to their place values. Just look at how well the children did completing their own vertical addition sums. Well done boys and girls. 🙂💚💛
